Dinner at the luxury bed and breakfast in the heart of the Santa Ynez Wine Country gives wine lovers another way to taste the Valley during the Vintner's Festival weekend.

The Santa Ynez Inn, a luxury boutique hotel in the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country will host dinner for Vintner's Festival visitors craving more than just wine April 17.

Feast on a four-course meal prepared by excellent Chef Heather Henry and expertly paired with Kenneth Volk Wines.

Santa Ynez Inn General Manager Rick Segovia said the dinner is a great representation of the Santa Ynez Valley. "Chef Heather Henry is masterful at serving up a menu that offers the best the Valley has to offer. Pairing that menu with fine Kenneth Volk wines will give visitors something to really sink their teeth into after a day of wine tasting," Segovia said.

Get started with some appetizers then move on to a first course that includes Chilled Curried Lobster Dumpling and a Sesame Seared Santa Barbara Bay Prawn, Hearts of Palm, Grapefruit, English Peas and a Tahini-Miso vinaigrette. All paired with 2007 Kenneth Volk Malvasia Bianca, Santa Barbara County.

Move on to a second course of Black Garlic and Lemongrass Flan With Morel Mushroom Ragout, Cilantro Pesto and Steamed Edamame paired with 2007 Kenneth Volk Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County.

Then dig in to the third course, Beef Short Ribs "Steamship" Style with Five Spice-Almond Glace over a Chow Mein Noodle Nest with Grilled Green and White Asparagus and a 2007 Kenneth Volk Pinot, Santa Barbara County.

Finish it off with a final course of Triple Chocolate-Coconut Milk "Sushi" roll
Accompanied by a Green Tea and Bittersweet Chocolate Truffle paired with
2007 Kenneth Volk Cabernet Sauvignon, Santa Barbara County.

The Santa Ynez Inn's Vintner's Festival Dinner featuring Kenneth Volk Wines will take place April 17 at the Santa Ynez Inn, 3627 Sagunto St., in Santa Ynez. The dinner costs $95. Reservations are required, call 805.688.5588
