MetaMorph Strategies, a Phoenix-based integrated marketing firm, is currently accepting entries for its First Annual ?No-Go Logo? Contest. A ?No-Go Logo? is a logo that is outdated, is poorly designed, or does not represent the company?s brand. The contest is open to any company based in the United States that has been in business for at least one year at the time of entry submission, and has a logo that has negatively impacted business. The deadline for entry is August 31, 2008, one winner will be chosen and announced in the company?s eNewsletter, Transformations, on September 5, 2008. Entries may be submitted at

Jennifer Maggiore, VP/COO said Wednesday, ?We have found that there is an overall heightened awareness of visual design and branding, especially with the huge shift of marketing dollars to the Internet- companies have access to an unlimited audience. It is more important than ever that a company put its best foot forward with a well-designed, well-thought-out logo that truly represents that company?s brand. Many business owners may be shrewd entrepreneurs, but they do not know where to start in finding a firm that will excel at representing their company, or do not understand why a logo is so crucial. We want to help business owners poke a little fun at their logos while demonstrating why a logo is the foundation for a cohesive brand, and how a logo may be the foundation for overall branding efforts.?

All entries will receive feedback and suggestions on how to improve the companies? logos. One winner will be chosen and announced in the Transformations eNewsletter on September 5, 2008. The prize includes a one hour phone interview to understand the winning company?s brand and 3 new logo design concepts to choose from.

MetaMorph Strategies is a women-owned business based in Phoenix, specializing in integrating web-based and traditional marketing (including research, branding, strategy, web development, Search Engine Marketing, Print, Radio and Television Production). ?We believe that our business model is going to be the model for the effective modern marketing firm. Most large marketing firms specialize in either web or traditional techniques, and are struggling to provide what they are lacking. Additionally, we are able to track and report the effectiveness of all campaign elements so that our clients know their exact ROI, and what campaign elements are producing the best results?, says Mona Moore, President & CEO.

The New York Times reported in February, 2008, that ?The [Internet Marketing] industry will boom from $18.4 billion in 2007 to more than $61.3 billion in 2012, according to projections made by the Forrester Research report. Interactive marketing will come to represent 18 percent of all advertising up from the current eight percent, decreasing the percentage spent on traditional advertising.?
