C-MOR Version 3: Video Surveillance Has Been Broadened And Improved In The New Version 3

New streaming technology and database-supported recordings bring great performance improvements for the user. Accelerated streaming rates and faster video searches are bringing new initiative into the already well-engineered C-MOR system.

Lake Forest - Fully concentrated on customer feedback for extended features, the new version 3 of the C-MOR IP Video Surveillance series has been released. Besides a new ?Quick Start? overview and the possibility to open single video streams, the SQL database is speeding up the user access to recordings.

The goal of version 3 was the integration of the latest technology and the guarantee that no software has to be installed on the client PC to use C-MOR. Key features were maintained as well; easy menu structure and the ability to access C-MOR regardless of location still exist whether it is at your local coffee house, internet caf?, or simply your mobile phone.

Many existing features have been improved due to customer feedback. The interface for mobile devices is getting more and more important. It has been extended with the live stream function for mobile devices. Windows Mobile, Palm, or Blackberry live streaming videos can be watched anywhere. The only requirement is Internet connectivity that is standard for most businesspeople. "It?s nice to quickly check if thing are right or if the assembly line is running, anything is possible. Also you can open doors, do temperature surveillance and text flashing of cash boxes - the list of features is endless", explains Michael Reuschling, CEO of C-MOR Inc. "The essential advantages are: cameras that can be viewed with a specific web browser or browser plug-in only, can be viewed with C-MOR without the installation of software?.

The number of supported cameras has been extended. Just in the last month 4 new camera manufacturers have been certified for C-MOR. With one click only, the IP camera of the most diversified manufactures can be selected and integrated into the system.

The new SQL database improved overall performance and recordings storage. For the end user, this invisible technology guarantees a seamless interface as well as a quicker search of the recordings.

The new streaming interface also allows opening single camera windows to set up the overviews for individual cameras more convenient. The single streams can be opened, depending on the wish of the user, and the available bandwidth, in either full stream, half or quarter stream sizes. The C-MOR server narrows the picture so it requires less bandwidth. This is a very important point in areas with slow Internet connectivity.

The new quick start page of the C-MOR15, the 15-camera solution, is more convenient. Instead of displaying 15 streams it is now possible to open single streams and the overview stays clear, even when many cameras are in use.

Overall the new version of C-MOR has been clearly expanded and improved to be the real trendsetter in the video surveillance market.
