Pakistani Man Arrested Over Importing Counterfeit Viagra and Drugs Online

Junaid Qadir is 33 year old, and does commercial business of selling wholesale quantities of the unapproved and fake versions of Alprazolam, Lorazepam, Phentermine, Zolpidem, Diazepam, and over the counter Generic Viagra through his family at Karachi to JNS Impex a Pakistan-based pharmacy. He was held captive in Germany last spring, where he was also jailed until extradited to U.S. He was charged in January 25th but he pleaded not guilty for the allegations, where he was ordered to be kept without bond, as concluded by John Walsh, the U.S. attorney.

A Pakistani man, Junaid Qadir was charged for importing false drugs and narcotics to U.S. appeared in the Denver Court. He was also accused of providing counterfeit Viagra to internet pharmacies belonging to Asian regions. The person was caught without bail, when charged with supplying the medical outlets on the web with fake Lorazepam, Phentermine, and Diazepam. He was indicted in 2012 and 2015 as well by federal grand jury for allegedly selling and importing bogus prescription drugs, and made first appearance for the allegation in the U.S. District Court of Denver.

Illegal Trade of Medicines Online
There are several firms that are in illegal trade of selling fake drugs over the internet. Some do the business knowingly, while others may not be aware that they are getting supply of counterfeit online pharmacy Generic Viagra medicines. It is thus best for the traders to trust only renowned pharmaceuticals and offer patented medications to the patients, and not openly relies on third-party agents who promise to provide original drugs, but may not be truthful in the case, and earn millions out of the bogus trade. As per the court documents, Junaid and his brother called Shehzad have prominent role in JNS Impex, which is family operated and owned. The firm claims that it has license to export and distribute medicines, including narcotics. But, investigators prove that the company is unlicensed and does not hold such records in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, which controls the import and sell of substances in the United States. The Walsh Office implores JNS Impex took orders for online pharmacy no prescription drugs, and most of these were supplied to India, Pakistan, China, and U.K.

Risks to Pharmaceuticals Business and Buyers Health
Often the suppliers shipped the medicines in water bottles or loose plastic vitamin containers, which were mailed without patient safety information, packaging, or any other written instructions. Even the customers who ordered from such online pharmacy did not receive the required details of the medications, which endangered the person’s health and life firstly due to fake pills, and secondly due to no information as to how harmful these drugs were. The case must be a warning for those who buy counterfeit drugs without prescriptions on the internet.
The customers usually transferred the bill amount for the drugs via Western Union or other accounts to the defendant’s name, some to associated companies in United Arab Emirates or elsewhere. Buyers have no idea what these medicines can do to them, some of the products even cause slow death due to poisoning or interactions, while others are at risk to instant harm to kidney, liver, heart, or blood system. Junaid now faces multiple charges and penalties which range from 3 years to 20 years in federal prison, with a heavy fine up to $250,000 for each count.
