Two Education Sessions At Nama Coffeetea & water 2011 Critical To Saving You Money

Dave McCaffrey Shares Tips to Avoid Hiring Mistakes While Fred Parrish Helps Find Profit Leaks at NAMA's Must Attend CoffeeTea&Water event Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas.

CHICAGO, IL - If you are interested in saving money and making the right hire or want to find your profit leaks, you have a choice of two critical education sessions at the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) CoffeeTea &Water event Tuesday-Thursday, Oct. 18-20, at Bally's resort in Las Vegas, said NAMA VP Sales and Service Dean Gilland, NCE5, CCS.

"Since they are both offered from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, it is certainly worth your while to bring as many people as possible to make sure you have attendance at each one," said Gilland.

Dave McCaffrey, a NAMA Knowledge Source partner and owner of Predictive Assets, will share important insights into the critical process of hiring a new employee. He says that just one idea from his session, "Avoid Hiring Mistakes With 5 Easy Steps," will save you money and help you make the right hire.

"Typically ALL hires are interviewed…but only 20% turn out to be top performers, while 80% turn out to be average or less; I'll explain what went wrong," said McCaffrey. Also "Did you know you could lose your company, yes, LOSE YOUR COMPANY, because you do not take one (often neglected) step in your hiring process"? he added.

Fred Parrish returns to this year's event with additional information that will help you keep more of your hard-earned profits, optimize route sales by tracking sales, and evaluating your coffee service operation. He will be discussing Better Revenue Management in "Find Your Profit Leaks Part II."

"Profit leaks exist in every company. Finding and stopping them is critical to building a successful company. Find Your Profit Leaks - Part II will explore more ways to maximize profitability and cash flow by focusing on specific areas in operations and financial management to help owners/managers improve their companies," said Parrish. Parrish will also lead a Best Practices Roundtable discussion from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

"We understand how important it is in today's economy to stay competitive and these are just two more valuable education sessions at CoffeeTea&Water 2011 aimed at helping you do so," concluded Gilland.
