Brain Injury Publishing and Training Firm, Lash and Associates, Joins Forces with Project BRAIN

Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc., leading provider of brain injury resources for children, adults and veterans, has teamed up with Project BRAIN, a resource and training network that supports children in Tennessee with traumatic brain injury.

Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. announced their partnership with Project BRAIN, an offshoot of the Tennessee Disability Coalition. Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. provides brain injury training, resources, and books to adults, children and veterans who deal with brain injuries or provide care to brain trauma victims. Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. will be supplying materials for Project BRAIN for the 2011 Tennessee Special Education Conference scheduled for February 23-25.

"After establishing ongoing dialogue with Project BRAIN and welcoming them into the brain injury community, we began talking about a way we could help each other," said Marilyn Lash, Director and Senior Editor at Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. "A win-win idea was born in which we would supply the organization with materials for the Tennessee Special Education Conference. All of us are very excited about this upcoming conference and hope to gain tons of recognition and awareness for Project BRAIN, concussions and other brain injuries in students."

Project BRAIN, a resource and training network for educators, families and health professionals who support students in Tennessee with traumatic brain injury (TBI), are hosting a pre-conference on February 22nd that is free to educators nationwide. This full day workshop is focused on educating attendees about concussion and mild brain injury. Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. will be providing every guest with a free concussion tool kit, as well as hosting exhibits about concussion and youth sports. Lash and Associates Publishing/Training Inc. will also present a number of their noted authors as speakers throughout the day.
The pre-conference, titled Concussion / Mild TBI within Our Schools and Community will be held at the newly re-opened Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
