[x+1] Hires Matt Prohaska as SVP, Media Solutions

Online advertising pioneer and entrepreneurMatt Prohaska, to work with major Fortune 500 customers on the execution of their digital media strategies and campaigns for [x+1].

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Online targeting platform leader [x+1], www.xplusone.com, announced today it has hired Matt Prohaska as Senior Vice President, Media Solutions. In this position, Prohaska will be focusing on the company's media sourcing, campaign management and clients' strategy.

An 18-year veteran of the digital media industry, Prohaska was the first online media buyer at BBDO (now part of OMG) in 1994 and later opened CNET's New York sales office as its first Regional Sales Manager in 1996. Focusing on early-stage developments in behavioral targeting, social media and ad exchanges, he has managed six different regional and national teams, consulted for a dozen online media companies and founded two others.

Most recently, Prohaska founded Open Book Video, a video ad network, after serving as CEO, North America for Smartclip, Europe's leading video ad network. Prior to Smartclip, he spent three years at AOL leading a 160-person sales team in account management that worked with every North American advertiser handling over $1 billion in total annual revenue.
