Adventure is Closing In: Long Island Game Farm – Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo Announces Spring 2018 Schedule and Opening Day! Now entering its 49th Season, the Long Island Game Farm -– Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo will officially open on Saturday, April 14. During the opening weeks, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the new baby animals, including chicks, bunnies, ducklings, calves and kid goats, and will be able to pet and hand feed the animals once they are born. They will also be able to enjoy the amusement rides, including the carousel and spinning tea cups, and pony rides. Lastly, guests will be able to meet the park’s new 10-month old baby wallaby.

Long Island Game Farm to Host Inaugural Founder’s Day Celebration – A Family Appreciation Day

Long Island Game Farm — Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo was founded in 1970 by Stanley and Diane Novak. To thank the visitors that have kept the park going for 48 years, the Long Island Game Farm is throwing its first ever Founder’s Day Celebration – A Family Appreciation Day, on Saturday, August 26. All day long, admission will be $6(+tax)/adult and one free child admission per adult (each additional child is $6 +tax). Rain date is Sunday, August 27.

Long Island Game Farm Hosts its Third Annual 1970s Admission Price Day

Long Island Game Farm — Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo is bringing back their 1970’s Admission Price Day for the third year in a row. On July 29, all day, the park will feature admissions prices from it’s first decade in business. Tickets will cost $3.90/adult and $1.95/child (+tax). This is an unbeatable price that only comes along once a year.

Long Island Game Farm Throws a Pajama Party for Visitors

Long Island Game Farm — Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo is hosting a pajama themed party open to all visitors. This event, “PJ’s in the Park – Pajama Party with our Kid Goats”, will take place on Saturday, July 22 from 12 – 1 p.m. At this event, guests will be able to interact with and pet our little goats who will, also, be dressed in their pajamas. It’s the perfect way for the kids to get up close and personal with these cute, friendly animals.

(SBPLI) will be presenting a full and detailed description of all FIRST® (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science and Technology) programs for students ages six through eighteen, including FIRST® LEGO® League Jr., FIRST® LEGO® League, FIRST® Tech Challenge, and FIRST® Robotics Competition. INFO Night is taking place on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 PM at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library located at 999 Old Country Road, Plainview. This event is for adults only and admission is free.

(SBPLI) on Sunday, January 15. During this qualifying event, 26 Long Island teams, comprised of students age 12 to 18, used their problem-solving skills, creative thinking and sportsmanship to compete for a chance to compete at the Long Island Championship at Smithtown High School on February 11.

During this, the first of three, qualifying event, 27 Long Island FIRST Tech Challenge teams, comprised of students age 12 to 18, used their problem-solving skills, creative thinking and sportsmanship to compete in this year's challenge, VELOCITY VORTEXSM.
