ECM of France, a specialist in veterinary ultrasound solutions, has launched VIRTUAL SCAN ? an ultrasound scanner for pig farmers and veterinarians. The scanner offers an alternative to screenless A-Mode Doppler devices, as well as to inexpensive ultrasound devices, which are often poor quality.

France?s ITER Cadarache issues call to tender

28 August 2008 ? France has been chosen to host the ITER research centre at Cadarache, in the south of France. The project will involve the construction of an experimental nuclear-fusion reactor using hydrogen isotopes. Calls to tender are currently being issued for the project.
